La Balda

La Balda cheese factory, located in the Vall de la Llémena, was born in 2012 to form part of the constellation of artisan cheese workshops that make up the Catalan 'milky way', currently expanding. In our workshop, in the village of Granollers de Rocacorba located in the municipality of Sant Martí de Llémena, we follow cheese traditions from here and there, contributing to thicken the constellation and diversity of Catalan artisan cheeses made with raw milk. Organic milk from Can Frigola (Pla de l'Estany) for the production of Fermió and Golany and organic grazing milk from Can Garriga (Maia de Montcal) for the manufacture of Baldat. All preparations are made with raw milk.
