Black pea from Montclar

The cultivation of mountain black peas is a traditional agricultural activity typical of Berguedà and Solsonès that had been abandoned. This pea was about to disappear and Montclar was perhaps the only municipality where its cultivation and consumption was preserved, at the Hostal de Montclar. We are currently promoting its consumption in several restaurants in the region, with the support of the Berguedà Hotel and Catering Guild.
