Braised lentils with pork chop

Suitable for celiacs , Meats Legumes

    • 300 g lentils
    • 2 cuts of bacon cut into small cubes
    • 200 g diced pork chop
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 2 chopped tomatoes
    • 1 head of garlic
    • A bunch of herbs (thyme, bay leaf, oregano)
    • Salt
    • Extra virgin olive oil
    • Water

    • Preparation

      In a saucepan, fry the bacon and rib in little extra virgin olive oil and, half-browned, add the onion, garlic cabeza, tomatoes and bunch of herbs.
      When it is thoroughly sautéed, add the rinsed lentils and water until covered.
      Salt and cook covered little by little until lentils are cooked.
