Pickled sardines

Fish and seafood

    • 1 kg of sardines
    • 2 onions cut into julienne
    • 5 crushed garlic
    • Laurel
    • Oregano
    • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
    • 1 teaspoon spicy paprika
    • Salt
    • 2.5 dl extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 dl of vinegar

    • Preparation

      Wipe the sardines from guts and scales, dry and place in a pottery pan.
      Top with the garlic, onion, bay leaf, oregano, pepper and salt.
      Then cover with the extra virgin olive oil and vinegar.
      Let it cook little by little until the sardines are cooked.

      Variations:
      It can be done with any fish.
      It also works with rabbit.
